Back-End & Residual Affiliate Commissions
Residual income is what puts money in a affiliate marketer’s pocket without having to do any work or effort on their part. It just doesn’t get any better than this. Sales of back-end products allow you to get paid for work that you do more than once. The idea here is to try to work smarter…not harder.
So what are back-end products? They are the products or services that you offer to your existing customers, i.e. to people who have already bought a product or service(front-end product. lead product) from you.
Most online marketers make a lot more money selling their customers the second, third or fourth product than they do selling their first product. The reason is that someone who has already bought your product or service’s once are much more likely to buy again if you sold them a good quality product.
Strategies like back-end offers moves the focus from the short sighted “take the money and run” strategy that is so much in use by some on the internet today. You’ve seen a lot of these sites all over the internet. Their focus is on getting a huge amount of traffic and selling their visitors an over-priced product that doesn’t deliver what it promised. They might make some money in the short run but they’ll only sell to maybe each customer once and then will have to continue spending a lot more money on advertising to try to get some new suckers to visit their website and purchase their product.
Most successful websites focus on building a strong trusting relationship with their customers. Your main goal shouldn’t be to just make sure your customers are somewhat satisfied…you want to try to make them extremely satisfied with your product or service. If you deliver high quality goods, your customers will trust you more. If you have their trust, you can sell them a lot easier. When you send your satisfied customers an email offering them another product that they may be interested in, they will flock to your site to buy it if it is something they want because they trust you. Trust is everything in a business.
