Question: I have got myself in a mess with payday loans as i couldnt afford to get through the month and?

Now i am really scraed as i am spiralling out of control with no way to pay them back will i go to prison?

Call them and explain the siutation(say your lost your job so you will have no monthly income) and see if they will allow you to repay in monthly installments. They will freeze the account and then you may be able to pay them back. I have done this with a payday company, You may also want to cancel you direct debit and transfer your funds into a different account as i know even of you cancel it they will try taking the whole thing. i'm in the completely same situation as you.

You won't go to prison You only risk prison if you owe the government money, not private companies Get in touch with the CAB (Citizens Advice Bureau) , they will be able to advise you

I made the mistake of getting a payday loan because I had car repairs to pay for and no money in savings or credit cards to cover the cost of the repairs.
