How do i convince my parents to let me buy a playstation 3?

Question: How do i convince my parents to let me buy a playstation 3?

I already have a 360 and Wii and xbox live but I really hate my 360 due to constant repairs and my wii stopped working. I already have $140 saved my mom still says no. My dad is completely behind me getting a Playstation.

My parents are exactly the same and i was in the same situation. the wii you dont need because its not like your family is gonna play with you and if they do its a one time thing. what i did was sell it. also if you have any other thing like on old GBA or something else that you could sell (plus the games that go with it), that would help. for the mom problem you could convince her that by selling these games you would have less games and wont play as much. other wise secretly have your dad but it and never tell your mom. = ]

Ask your mom if u can sell your x-box and wii and with the money use it to buy a ps3, or get a job

Basically just tell her that getting a ps3 is for everyone because of free movie and music and you can use web browser and all that. that was how i convince my parent to get me a ps3 even though i had to go to summer school

If it is your money then it should be your choice

Tell them what you can do with it besides gaming (like a bluray player). Then, do some major sucking up for about a month. You might want to do the sucking up first though. Also, convince your dad to get one anyways regardless (use this as a last choice only!)

Well, if you hate your consoles or they aren't working, you should sell them. If you have enough money for yourself, you can probably convince them. Or, you can get your dad to ask your mom, if he is ok with getting a new console.

I have no idea but another reason to get one would be because of this website that you can get custom game consoles from insaneconsoles.tech.officelive.com/ default.aspx

I have the same problem, only my mum is behind me but my dad is ruthlessly against it He wont sit down and talk and says I need to get a job before I go out and buy it. I guess you could try and look for some work to prove your not always going to be indoors playing on it all the time. I cant get work because even though in 16 theres hardly anywork in my small town If you get your own way, do you mind sending me a message of how you did on Dave_shuttleworth@hotmail.co.uk that would be great :)
