A couple of weeks ago my cousin told me his ps3 had the yellow light of death, and I could have it to try and fix it because he was buying a new one. So I took it apart using a guide , did a reflow on the motherboard and replaced the thermal compound. Anyway, it now no longer has ylod it has the green and blue lights like it should but the fan is really loud and I can't get it to show up on the tv screen. I think I've got it set up correctly but could it be something I've done wrong while taking it apart?I have the power plug and the scarp? plug plugged in but is there something I've forgotten about? I used akasa 450 thermal if thats of any use and I cleaned all dust from the fan so I'm not sure why its so loud. As you can see, I'm not much of an expert at this but any help would be appreciated...dfhdfhdfhgdfgdfg
How long does it take for sony to bring back ps3?
i just send my ps3 slim 250gb to sony and it had a warranty too, also it had a minor problem the disk wont slide in so does more damage on ps3 increase the waiting time to get it back?

Should I get an XBOX 360 or a PS3?
I am debating whether to get a new xbox 360 or a ps3. I currently own a wii, ps2, psp, ds, and a few other gameboys. So I was wondering which would be better to get the xbox or ps3. I just want to ask people their opinions on which is the better system. I am currently leaning slightly more over to the side of the PS3 because of the graphics and free PSN availability. I have heard some people say that there's no point getting a PS3 if I already have a PSP. But I still think that the PS3 has many more exclusive games for it that are better than the PSP. Anyway, the point is, I just want to ask people their opinions on which system I should get. Thanks to everyone who answers I also wanted to add the things I am looking for in a system. Features such as blue ray Prices if they are worth their money compatibility online design accessories such as kinect and PS3 move games for each system which system has better games and what are they called?The last thing that I was thinking about was the problem about the red ring of death on the xbox. Does anyone know if that happens to the new xbox 360 slim?
