Web Hosting Services and Domain Names

Choosing a good domain name is very important. First and foremost, when it comes to domain names, try to stay away from the silly, stupid, ridiculous or clever. Keep your domain name simple and make it something your customers can remember if they lose the link to your business website.

Take note that, while a free domain name on a free hosting service may seem like the least expensive way to go, it may also get you dropped from certain search engines. Some search engines ignore domain addresses that reside on these ‘free servers’ or on the ‘cheap’ servers.

Even if your site is recognized and considered by the search engines, a professional domain name that uses your primary company name or associated words is more likely to get more attention and be considered as a stable business by your prospective customers.

Purchasing domain names are not that expensive which cost about $10 to $20 and there are many companies that can register the name for you, provided it is available and is not already being used by another company.

Using one of your keywords in your domain name can increase your score on some search engines. For example, solderingirons.com could be more effective as Electric-soldering-irons.com, if that domain name was available.

You might also choose to establish more than one domain name using keywords and then link your ‘doorway’ domain sites to your primary site. But you will have to pay for each of the domain names and also the monthly hosting fees. It all depends on the type and size of your business and your competition.

Keep in mind that some search engines disregard ‘doorway’ sites. So put at least a page of content on the doorway site with some useful information and then link it to your primary site. But don’t design it as an empty page. The other reason being, you can have one, three, five, or even more email addresses that all contain your business name, and give your business a more professional feel. When customers get emails from dominicstone@solderingirons.com they feel as if they are dealing with a stable, professional business operation.

No need for customers to understand how you manage all your email boxes on your domain. They just need to feel your business is dependable and reputable.

Back-End & Residual Affiliate Commissions

Residual income is what puts money in a affiliate marketer’s pocket without having to do any work or effort on their part. It just doesn’t get any better than this. Sales of back-end products allow you to get paid for work that you do more than once. The idea here is to try to work smarter…not harder.

So what are back-end products? They are the products or services that you offer to your existing customers, i.e. to people who have already bought a product or service(front-end product. lead product) from you.
Most online marketers make a lot more money selling their customers the second, third or fourth product than they do selling their first product. The reason is that someone who has already bought your product or service’s once are much more likely to buy again if you sold them a good quality product.

Strategies like back-end offers moves the focus from the short sighted “take the money and run” strategy that is so much in use by some on the internet today. You’ve seen a lot of these sites all over the internet. Their focus is on getting a huge amount of traffic and selling their visitors an over-priced product that doesn’t deliver what it promised. They might make some money in the short run but they’ll only sell to maybe each customer once and then will have to continue spending a lot more money on advertising to try to get some new suckers to visit their website and purchase their product.

Most successful websites focus on building a strong trusting relationship with their customers. Your main goal shouldn’t be to just make sure your customers are somewhat satisfied…you want to try to make them extremely satisfied with your product or service. If you deliver high quality goods, your customers will trust you more. If you have their trust, you can sell them a lot easier. When you send your satisfied customers an email offering them another product that they may be interested in, they will flock to your site to buy it if it is something they want because they trust you. Trust is everything in a business.

Some Way’s to Boost Sale’s from your Website

Anyone who has been doing any marketing online knows that the livelihood of a business is the amount of traffic they can get to their site. More visitors always equal’s more sales. However, there are some ways you can tweak your sites to improve sales without the need to get more visitors.

The first method is to add your own personal touch in your sales message. Nobody wants to be sold to by a complete stranger, but many people will buy what their friends recommend to them. If you can convince your audience that you’re a personal friend who has their best interest at heart, they will be more likely to buy your products or service’s. Remember to write as if you were speaking to an individual in your sales-letter, not to the whole audience.

The second method is to publish the testimonials and comments from your customers on your site. A good idea would be to publish both the good and bad comments; that way prospects will know that these testimonials are for real. When prospects see testimonials from past customer’s on your website, they will have more confidence in buying your product or service; when others have bought and proven it authentic, they will jump on the bandwagon and possibly buy too.

Use visual representations for the product or service’s that you offer. Not everyone will read your text copy from the beginning to the end, but most people will pay more attention to images on your website.

Offer high quality bonuses to accompany the product or service you are selling. When you offer bonuses that complement your product or service, your prospects will feel like it’s to good of a deal to pass up and it would be in their be interest to purchase the product or service. State the monetary value of your bonuses so people will be even more compelled to grab up your good bargain.

Lastly, ask for the sale! Many people entice their prospects with the benefits of their product, sell to them with stories of how it has solved many problems, even offered killer bonuses but forget to ask for the sale. Give a clear instruction on how to buy your product and how it will be delivered to them and the general amount of time it will take for them to receive the product or service (e.g. “click here to buy now!”) or ( Instant Download after Purchase ).
